Superfine Alpaca

The wool from the llama alpaca is considered the world's finest, completely comparable to cashmere and mohair. The alpaca wool has very fine fibres, is soft and both warmer, stronger and glossier than sheep's wool. In other words, an alpaca garment does not itch and is more durable than the corresponding sheep's wool garment. The alpaca yarn also weighs less, which gives the garments a lighter feel, while keeping them warm. Miss Svensson's Superfine Alpaca is made of 100% finest alpaca wool from the Andes in Peru.
