For every skein sold, SEK 10 goes to the Breast Cancer Association and the fight against breast cancer. The sweaters Emma (light) and Louise (medium spring) are this year's Pink Ribbon sweaters, knitting instructions can be found here.
Baby Alpaca has even finer fibers than Superfine Alpaca. The wool from the llama alpaca is considered the world's finest, completely comparable to cashmere and mohair. Baby Alpaca is the absolute softest yarn you can find and just like Superfine Alpaca it is warmer, stronger and shinier than sheep's wool yarn. A garment made of baby alpaca is therefore fantastically soft, does not itch at all and is more durable than the corresponding sheep's wool garment. The alpaca yarn also weighs less, which gives the garments a lighter feel, while keeping them warm. Miss Svensson's Baby Alpaca is made of 100% finest baby alpaca wool from the Andes in Peru.
For those who are allergic to sheep's wool, alpaca wool is an excellent alternative.
