Ida
Ida
The slipover Ida is knitted from top to bottom on a circular needle in stockinette stitch. Along the edge of the back piece, increases are made on both the right and wrong sides, which creates the slope on the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up along the shoulder seams and the two shoulder sections are worked separately with increases to create the V-neck. After the shoulder parts have been finished, all parts are brought together so that the body is knitted on the circular needle. Decreases are made in both sides for a narrower finish. The rib at the bottom is knitted with a slightly thinner needle, as is the elastic edge along the V-neckline and armholes. Ida has an oversize fit and should have a positive ease of about 50 cm more than your bust circumference.
