The Pippi sweater is knitted from the bottom up in stockinette stitch on a circular needle. After the body, the work is divided and the front and back are knitted separately. The front is also divided to knit the shoulder sections separately so that the small slit in the front is formed. When the shoulder seams are sewn together, stitches are picked up to knit the sleeves, also on circular needle. With the help of shortened laps, the sleeves get a slope for a better fit. There are 2 variants of sleeves if instead of wide sleeves with a little puff at the bottom, you prefer a narrower and straighter sleeve. In the neck, stitches are picked up for a shorter rib before sewing cords to be able to tie at the crack. NOTE, children's sizes only.

The knitting pattern has been produced in collaboration with Björn Ulvaeus for Musikhjälpen's collection for a children as refugees.

Product information, see facts below. The knitting pattern is delivered digitally as a pdf.
