Martha

The Märta sweater is knitted from top to bottom with 2 colors in brioche knitting. Choose 2 colors Baby alpaca and complement the Basic color (beige in the picture) with a nearby color Baby silk mohair. First, the back part is knitted, adding stitches to the neck and knitting back and forth with increases on each side. Next, stitches are picked up to the shoulder parts, which are knitted separately, and then brought together when the front piece is to be knitted. Under the armhole, stitches are cast on before the back piece and the front piece meet to form the body, which is knitted in the round on circular needle and finished with rib on a slightly thinner circular needle. Stitches for sleeves are then picked up on shorter circular needle, and knitted in the round with a few decreases to get a slightly narrower finish. Finally, stitches are picked up round the neckline to knit the rib edge of the neck, which is folded double and knitted down. Märta has a loose fit and should be knitted with a positive ease of 15 cm more than your bust circumference.
