Lotta is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch in double thread Baby Silk Mohair. First, the upper part of the back is knitted, then stitches are picked up along the lining edge of the back to the shoulders. To get a good slope on the shoulders, they are knitted separately with shortened rounds. Front and back pieces are brought together under the armhole, and the body is worked on circular needle with decreases in each side for a slightly tapered shape and finished with a double-folded edge that is worked on as you cast off. Along the armholes stitches are picked up for sleeves with a shorter circular needle. The slightly tapered sleeves, like the neckline, are finished with i-cord edging. Lotta should have a positive ease about 10 cm more than your bust circumference.
