The Katrin shawl is produced in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Association. For each shirt package sold, between SEK 130 and SEK 170 goes to the fight against breast cancer.
Katrin is a wide shawl that is knitted in an equilateral braid pattern and thus looks the same from both sides. At each end, rib cuffs are knitted and sewn on so that the shawl can be worn as a wrap sweater by crossing it at the front, or at the back. Katrin is knitted with circular knitting needles or regular knitting needles, and a braided knitting needle is a great help. The cuffs are knitted with double pointed needles or with a circular needle if you use Magic loop technique. The picture shows size M, which fits a circumference (including upper arms) of 110-125 cm. Each skein gives about 13-14 cm.
The knitting pattern is delivered digitally as a pdf.
