Johanna
Johanna
The JOHANNA sweater is completely assembly-free and is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch but with the wrong side facing out. You knit in Baby Alpaca from Miss Svensson, which makes the sweater super soft and comfortable. First the upper back part is knitted, then stitches are picked up on each side of the neck to knit the shoulders with shortened rounds so that you get a nice fit. Front and back are then brought together and knitted on circular needle all the way down the body. To get the nice "seam" between the purl and purl parts, the work is cast off and new stitches are picked up from the inside of the sweater. The same applies to the sleeves, which are knitted on a shorter circular needle. The neckline is knitted with a slightly thinner circular needle, folded in and stitched off towards the inside of the collar. The sweater has a wide and straight fit and should have a positive ease of about 25 cm more than your bust circumference.
