Hans&Greta
Hans&Greta
The children's cardigan Hans&Greta is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch with Baby alpaca or Pima cotton from Miss Svensson. After rib around the neckline, knit back and forth on circular needle with raglan increases in 4 places. When the body is to be knitted, the sleeves are put on a separate needle or yarn thread so that the front and back pieces can be brought together. Under the armhole, new stitches are cast on and 3 stripes are knitted before the body itself is finished with an elastic rib. The sleeve stitches are put on double pointed needles, new stitches are picked up under the armhole and the sleeve with the same stripes is knitted around. After the elbow, it is slightly reduced for a narrower finish before the rib ending. Along the front opening, the border is crocheted, and crocheted ribbons to be tied.
