Emma
Emma
The Emma sweater is produced in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Association. For each package sold, between SEK 80 and 100 goes to the fight against breast cancer.
The sweater is knitted with a circular needle from top to bottom in stockinette stitch. After the neckline, raglan increases are made in 4 places until the entire yoke is knitted. The work is then divided so that the sleeves can then be knitted separately, the front and back pieces are brought together and knitted in the round with a circular needle after stitches have been cast under the armholes. Decreases are made at the bottom in each side for a tighter ending. Finishing off the body with a rib, and in front of one side an extension of the rib is made to get the band to tie. The sleeves are straight and ends just below the elbow, also with a rib at the end. Emma has a loose fit and should have a positive ease about 10-15 cm more than your bust circumference. This pattern is easy and suits you who are not very used to knitting.
The knitting pattern is delivered digitally as a pdf.
