Charlie
Charlie
The vest Charlie is knitted with double thread from top to bottom, first the back piece is knitted, then the shoulder parts from the cast-on edge. With shortened rows, the shoulders get a slope so that it gets a good fit. The shoulder parts are brought together and form the V-neckline. Finally, the body is knitted by knitting the shoulder parts and the back piece together, finish in twisted rib with a thread. Edges with twisted rib (one thread) are knitted along the V-neckline and armholes. Make a swatch before you start knitting so you can see that the measurements for shoulders etc. are correct. The fit is relatively tight at the top as the model is straight, you should choose a size with approx. 3-5 cm more than your bust circumference.
