Caro
Caro
The Carro sweater is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch with several colors Baby Alpacka, Superfine Alpacka and Baby Silk Mohair from Miss Svensson. You can of course do the striping exactly as you want, below are the skeins that were used for this version. The cast-on edge forms the boat neckline after the shoulder section has been knitted. Then stitches are picked up along one shoulder, new stitches are cast on before additional stitches are picked up along the other shoulder. When the yoke is knitted, the front and back are knitted together on the circular needle. Under each armhole, decreases are made on each side to get a suitable width on the body and a dropped shoulder seam. At the bottom, each side is also reduced to get a tighter fit at the end. Stitches for sleeves are picked up along the armholes and then knitted in the round before the last rounds when decreases are made for a puffy finish. The sweater has a loose fit and should have a positive ease of 15-20 cm more than your bust circumference.
